OK, now you have done it....
My lady friend was going to go to Vegas with me, and return home before I went down to Houston to meet our new crew members..... Now, after reading the blog, (I think she has also started reading classracer) and now insists on going down to Houston with me too after we spend our week in Vegas while Drooze is tracking westward. I think she wants to see if our pit crew is a figment of Chris's imagination, or if these young girls are something she needs to be worried about... I have already told her not to worry, as I have as much money invested in my relationship with her, (too many diamonds to wear at the same time, and too many cruises to remember, etc...) as I have in the car.. But after seeing the pictures, she is going to need some additional reassurances...and probably a couple of new diamonds too... Man racing the way we do, is sure becoming an expensive sport! Droozer -- Here's the deal -- even though I've voted for Dreamy Drema smart money has you taking Jay on tour with you . Why you ask ? As both of the ladies are a bunch younger than you you're already off to a bad start -- sure tell us all that stuff about them being your crew but this guy's been to a rodeo or two and can see right thru it all .Is it help you want or someone to keep your feet warm at night and pick up your socks in the morning ? As for Jay -- at least he can help you with racing chores and maybe even drive your rig to the track .Once you're at the track with one of the " ladies" you can be sure that the areas around your pit will be surrounded by wolves .I'd rather have folks coming by to have a look at my new ride than to stare at my lady ( opps - I mean my pit crew person ).
Tomorrow is coming fast .........only a little time to wise up and make the right choice . PS-- Why would you need to "import" one of them to Vegas ....there are plenty there ! ! BTW , I've always been a "Jungle Pam" fan ............And Drema is no Pam for sure as Pam could work on Jim's engine or drive the truck .

Lol.....oddly Ive got to say , Jay actually cant go, hes tied up (that was the real reason for taking someone to help load and unload the trailer normally me and my dad would, but he wont be at Houston so I need a spare set of hands)
AND As you pointed out, well Im getting old and both ladies are quite a bit younger, I cannot realistically or rationally expect them to have any interest, BUT It dosent mean pleasant scenery is out of the question ![]() Youre right about Pam, when I was 10 I thought she was a PERFECT Woman.....lol....BUT It dosent mean they cant be taught......Jay , well Jay is a VERY Hard worker, but well he has issues with instructions, he actually follows them beyond logic I once asked him to pull the interior on my 72 Challenger so I could put the new interior in, and when I got back , EVERYTHING was out, Dash, Pedals, Column....yep the WHOLE Interior, I actually never saw it done that fast before though ![]() My real choice is Jay and my Son, my son has the drill down to a T trackside.....I mean a real machine,,,, but till schools out.... Picking my socks up requires a "Hazmat" waste removal liscence I have been told the NHRA will be charging me $5 for a sock disposal bag. I MAY be wrong, but if Atlanta DIV was any example, the car is going to be a draw as it is....I just need someone to run interference while I work.... I agree Jack 100%..... Jungle Pam was definately in a class by herself......A picture is worth a thousand words and Pam backing Jungle Jim up from a burnout would say it all.......They were the best show in drag racing back in the matchrace days.....
I lost in the 1st rd of S/G at the Keystones in 1988 and decided to hang out and watch on Sunday.....I was in my favoirte spot at the bottom of the lanes sitting on a wooden lane divider by the fence.......Soon I notice Pam to my right and she was there for the whole race. She looked better than ever and was enjoying the show.....A Very enjoyable day of spectating.........

Drooze also remembers Jungle Pam, and so do I...
I loved the showmanship that Jungle Jim put out there...And well, I have spent most of my life in a position where my approach to unconventional advertising and PR were keys to my success.... So if we can create a little buzz trackside, so be it! And if you think just having an attractive pit crew is the end of the line for our idea factory, hold onto your suspenders... However, having a competitive car is definitely also a very large part of our strategy... We don't believe in empty advertising. We will put out a good racing product too. Sooner, rather than later... But since we will not stop until we do, it will come. Tomorrow we will pull the engine and find out if my suspicions about it are validated or not. Either way, driver error, or inevitable engine failure, once we get the bottom end into the light of day, we will learn something important...
