Jerry,
Here in Virginia that would mean anything older than 1985(!). But a Nostalgia/Stock Class sounds like it might be fun - NS and NSA! No modern equipment allowed so everyone could bring out all the stuff they've been "saving" to sell on eBay! Plus the added benefit of going slower. ![]() Lew

Nostalgia class is a riot and we're glad to be part of it. No need to run modern equipment if your old stuff is put together right. Still use beat up 46 yr old cast iron heads and a POS mechanical drive tach. Nostalgia racers are great people as well as their racing ethic's, plus its totally a blast from the past. Last year a guy came up to our pits and asked why we still run down the track with factory aluminum? Told us it'd be a hard time to find replacement parts if the car ever hit the wall. DUH? Don told him he'd cross that bridge when he came to it, afterall its just a car.

Jim Pancake, Dave Barton, Bucky Hess, and all the rest of you SS/AH racers will always have a fan in me for your cars (April 1st, or any other day)!!! Btw, I'm glad to see Div. 3's Bob Marshall returning his '65 Coronet back to the SS/BA'dd class...now if only Div. 2's Steve Bagwell would return with his Hemi Savoy, Belvedere, & Cuda??? Thanks to my video collection, I'll have footage of his Savoy, plus John Friel's '68 Dart (Former SS/AA) car running a 9.18 @ 144mph back in '92...THANKS TURBO ACTION, & YOU RACERS FROM DIV. 2, for that "SUPER BADD VIDEO"!!! ![]() I just wish I could afford to own/race a 426 Hemi car...preferrably the Dart, Savoy/Belvedere/Fury, or the '65 Coronet, because then I wouldn't be a "Mopar Guy In Disguise"...

Next thing will be they wont allow anyone over the age of 30 to drive. You will just have to spend the money, build and work on the car, do the tear downs, tow it to the races so the young guys can fly in and be fresh (if you pay for thier ticket). Makes that street cruiser look even better. Pass me another cold beer.
