Hahahaha. Ken Herring was so mad that he couldn't guess the ET for any stock or superstock cars. Guy builds chassis and practically lives at the drag strip. For half the cars he had 0.00 on his board and he says he needs an NHRA rulebook. Yea like thats gonna help. Time to start building real cars bud.

I just watched that episode. The look on his face when he missed Gregg Luneack's ET by 3/4 second was priceless.
"I need a rulebook." HA!!

I'm thinking Ken needs to subscribe to Nitro Joes stats.

You know, if Ken were smart he'd go hunt for a recent ND before each show taping. I'd bet over time after combing through the indexes and records he'd eventually come out the winner on every class car from then on out.

Herring must be one of those that heads for the pits when S/SS comes up and misses the best show at the whole race. Maybe he should hang around a while so he looks a little more informed.

I would guess that he does hang out in the pit area until the type of cars he caters to begin to run. If your lively hood selling and working on a particular type of car you would be out there selling your services and products.
When you watch this you can have some runs where you ask yourself, WHAT HAPPENED? The car has xxx horsepower and can't get off the starting line or has so much power the tire burn off at 660 ft. It is really good to see the Superstock cars and drivers getting some air time. Three or four people standing around in the shop guessing the times can be alot of fun. |
