Holley 500 fuel pump

Anyone know if these can be repaired?

I had 3 of those pumps in 2 years...... Gave up on them and went to a Product Engineering
PE4500. Best pump(s) on the planet..... http://www.product-engr.com/PE_4500.htm
Do yourself a favor and dump the Holley.

The best repair for that pump is to install it in the garbage can. I had several.[they were free] all had problems. ..............lots of other good stuff from Holley , but not those pumps. .......Tom

When I built my A/S car, I was undecided what pump to use. I had such good luck with the blue holley pumps in my G/S car that i went with the holley 500.

It has worked flawlessly for 4 plus years now.

Maybe i am just lucky or on borrowed time, but it likes my car.

I would think you could get parts for it from holley

Possibly the later pumps were better,but I had galling issues with the pump rotors.....Tom

I went through 3 Holley's in 6 races! Got an Aeromotive pump now and so far so good. Have a Magnafuel in the box if I need it. Jim

By the way...... I run a Holley SD intake and a Holley HP carb. so I am not anti-Holley.
Just a fact. The Holley 350-500 fuel pumps suck! :-(
