Like Small Bock said, the shocks could be your cause. Did you change shocks from side to side and see if the car reacts differently. I am sure you have done this but have you extended the shocks and see if they stop short? I am taking a wild guess now. I have seen some nice roll bars from RJ race cars and even Competition eng.
