Default Pit Question

Ok this should be an easy one.

A team/owner has 2 cars 1 a stocker or superstocker and another something Pro, say TAFC.....do they also pit their stocker in the Pro pit or are they reqd to pit the seperate ? Or can they pit the stocker whatever in the trailer in the Pro pit ?

This should be an easy flame free post.

Caughlin for example ? Where did he have to pit his Chally ?

As much money that Jegs puts into our sport, they can park anywhere they want, hell... they can have mine.

That would be if I had paid attention and I did not, I had other things that were occupying my mind.

I THOUGHT I had seen someone pitted in the Pro pits with a sportsman car and thats why I asked.

Because as I have said the DP was not my idea for this season, it was the old mans balywick I had my own plans that were delayed by it.

I was asked a question in the pit at Indy "Why are you in Stock Eliminator?" I answered the question as to what I had planned to do for myself for this year and the answer was "Wow, yeah theyre so similar" (and theyre not) and when I explained the situation with the DP being my dad idea they understood. Once the car is zerod in and things are smooth, Im back to MY plans...and well.......my plans. It wont be a full time adventure but when I do run Ill be in the pro pits so..........well.....

Hence the question on the other "Who cares" well....eventually I will.

I THOUGHT I saw a Super Stocker coming from the pro pits on several occasions at Indy.......maybe I was wrong and he just ran for some Tacos in it and came back that way.

Its not a hard quetion to answer, but its one I dont know ? Any real help on this ?

At Indy both Stock and S/Stock were supposed to park on the west side ( the side you were on ) but there were all classes all over . We even had T/D on the west side. Don't know if this helps or not.
Park one time on blacktop when it's about 100deg and you'll think twice about that.........

Up until a few years ago you could get away with it but since then NHRA will not allow it.
We used to put the super gas car with Richie Stevens , David Rampy had his super comp car when he was running Pro Stock, but times has change. Shane Gray could not pit with his father and Larry Morgan's kid cannot pit him. Now this is the Pros , I am not sure about the Sportmans Pro like Alcohol Dragster.

If you have a 2 car stacker and one is a comp car the other a stocker or a superstocker, you get to pit with the comp cars on the pro side of the track if you want. That is probably the case you saw.

Yea thats what I'm talkin 'bout....

Why mess around with a Stocker......Move right on up to a Pro Category car....

So would that be a Nitro car or just a simple Pro Stocker......??
