Bobby, that is the program I have used to predict quarter-mile times from eighth-mile and 1,000-foot times.
I've never had a chance to verify the accuracy of those quarter-mile predictions (based on the 1/8th mile and 1,000-foot times actually run) and was curious as to how accurate they were. Has anybody actually done this? I'm just curious.... My car ran 9.74 @ 106 mph in 1,000 feet. Also, 7.59 @ 96 mph in the eighth. The Wallace program suggested that might equate to an 11.77 @ 116mph in a quarter-mile. Does that sound reasonable? The car wouldn't hook; spun the tires all the way through 1st gear... Any comments/advice will be appreciated.

I know my car is stronger in the first half than in the back half where it runs out of steam.
Last pass I made was 7.94 in the 1/8th and 12.64 in the 1/4th. The program perdicted that based on my 1/8th mile time, I should have run 12.46 in the 1/4th. Since we have only 1/8th mile strips around here, and that's all I've worked on with my car, I believe the predicter is probably pretty spot on.

Thanks, Bobby. That's the kind of information I need.
