Nice meeting you Lew, HOT it was. One round it was 100 degrees and track temp was 147. My car did perfect 60ft and 330 moved only 7 thou all day . Every car here hooked and NO COMPLAINTS (except for the heat lol) Had a great time as usual. We may have to put up a bounty on them Rowe boys .They have been in the finals at every combo we have had this year (including their dad , Bud ).14 cars is what we had and i am surprised ,since it was so HOT. I want to thank each and everyone who did come for the race. It is the hardcore racers like you guys that helps these combos survive. When Lew posts more pics you will see we had a good quality of cars on hand. I can't say THANK YOU enough.I went to Roxboro on Sat nite for their combo race( 18 cars) and had a ball there also. The rain came and cut out a time run ,so we got one run and went racing. Gil (homer ) Carty was your winner over Brandon Peterson. Sorry about your engine. And you are welcome on the battery loan,at least part of my car made it to the finals lol. Hope to see more of you guys and gals in our futere combo events at both Roxboro and Kinston.Stay cool . Oh, did i mention it was HOT yesterday ?????

Lew, thanks for coming and supporting us. It's ok that you haven't shown any pics of the T-bird! Sorry I can't do one of them big wheelstands...lol. I really do appreciate you coming and taking pictures in the heat. Sorry I couldn't make 1st round, the master cylinder decided to give up when I staged for 1st round in modified.

Marc - It was a pleasure meeting you yesterday! The heat was rough, but at least we had no sandstorms!!
I'll post a few pictures here from Kinston as well as two I took of the T-bird at Richmond a few weeks ago. I hope that makes up for my oversight! ![]() Hope your master cylinder problem is an easy fix! See you out there next time! Lew

It was great talking with you Lew & thank you for posting up pics of Sunday's event!
First off, I can't say thank you enough to all of the racers, crew and fans that came out for this event. Trust me, they will only get better in the future. The winners circle pics and final round run information are all posted on the message forum @ www.kdsmotorsports.com & you do not have to register to view them (but feel free to do so if you wish!). Thank you all again for a great day of racing!
