X TECH MAN said, "Score one for the old muscle cars in AA/SA."

I can't believe you, of all people, said that....

Ken got a well-fought win, while driving an exemplary race, and surely was a VERY DESERVING winner, using what he had, braving the possibility of blown Mustangs and D-P Challengers that he knows can eat his lunch, anytime, anywhere... but, he fought the good fight and persevered, in spite of all odds. You gotta admire his spirit and driving ability, for sure! Nice to see a guy who believes in himself and his car, in the winner's circle!!!

But to say that this race was won by an "old muscle car" is to ignore its "paper car" status and the fact that nothing even remotely like this single 4bbl 428 was around in the original 1967 GT 500's, is to believe in fairytales.

It's a class legal AA/SA car in every respect; an "old muscle car" it is not...

My 2-cents....

bill give it a rest . i bet you and few others on here are the type of people to ride down the road see a dead dog stop get out and kick it also i believe that kenny's car is 68 not a 67 so lets not start this whole shelby paper car bs again . bill do you know the difference between a gm fan and a jet engine the jet engine quits whineing when you turn it off have a great day you ole dog kicker.

New car, old car, make of car....doesn't matter.....It's the damn good driver that's putting these things in the winner's circle. Again, great job Ken. WJ
