I'm surprised there isn't more uproar about this.
Kinda funny, Jeggie cought cheating inadvertently by ESPN camera crews. If he's so damn good why doesn't be footbrake it?

He could have a button there for practice for his .90 car. Don't you think NHRA tech would have checked that? If it's not connected to anything, just a dummy button, what could be wrong? Lots of negativity going on around here. Jeggie is good enough he doesn't have to cheat. Some guys,, like him, Fletcher, Biondo, etc, are just better drivers than the most of us. Not everybody we can't beat is cheating.
I would think a person would want to look at that car in the staging lanes to see if that button is connected to anything before making acusations. Don't think the blinder deal is right.

Good one…switch on bracket has no wires. Figured I would try something different; since I am used to hitting the bottom with a trans brake. Switch with wires is clearly on the brake pedal. If I were using a delay box; I |

There ya go. I can't imagine thinking the tech guys would be too dumb to notice that button.

I suppose you guys operate your line loc off a button on the brake pedal??? Anything to whine about. You guys are just funny. If it was in one of those homely new camaros no one would say a word. Its nice to start the week with a laugh.

I take the man at his word, although I still don't think it makes sense.
But if he wants to stop the black helicopter contingent, he needs to take the button out of the car. That tiny little button is a big *** spoon stirring the pot. I find it hard to believe after letting off of the button on national tv he had no idea someone would notice.

It would be simple to clear up all the gimmicks going on with electronics in the cars, No more 2 steps and no buttons other then 4 speeds having a line lock to hold them from rolling on the starting line. Simple, go back to racing like in the 70's. I don't want to think that Jeggy is cheating in anyway, so let's make it honest for everyone, NO Electronics!
Let's also fix the tree so that he first car leaving doesn't get the red light uptill the second car leaves. Just my 2 cents. Casey Miles 248H |
