How about the DP's going to fast, the Fords going to fast, the C/SA's going too fast last year at Indy and kicking my can (no 11 of 11). Bruce Noland being nice, the oil spill, Greg Hill being happy with the new cars (Greg, that was too easy), old time rock-n-roll, Larry Hill's pink car, not enough beer, too much beer, Monday HP, Tuesday HP, Grey Goose Pear Vodka with a touch of tonic, Redfish, children, grandchildren, good typers, bad typers, anything but this stuff. Parent's, children and grandkids are what me and my wife live for. I also perfer Bevidere on the rocks and Walleye fillet's deep fried with Shore Lunch beer batter. Drag racing, hunting and fishing all take the back burner compared to my family and friends. Out of 151 DP cars, theres only 9 built 5.7's and 3, 5.9's. Smart move Mr. Jeff.

Jeff I love the new cars. They just need to be in the right classes. That Grey Goose pear vodka thing sounds like a sissy drink to me. How about some Knob Creek on the rocks.

Are you trying to change the subject again? I've stayed out of this thread on purpose but since you invited me, I am a little interested in what DYNO had to say about the shifters in these cars. I heard that some of the CJ's have trans-brakes as well. Supposedly they are not wired-up. You guys asked for this stuff by bringing crate motor cars into Stock. Just my 2 cents worth big dawg!

Know of the Coan T350 which is supplied with the Precision shifter. Has clean neutral past high gear and does not have trans brake. It is all in the design of the valve body. as you all know.

The cars you are referring to are purpose-built factory race cars, not Crate Motor cars. NHRA is okay with purpose-built factory race cars; Crate Motor cars are anathema. (No, I'm not campaigning for NHRA to add crate motors, just pointing out the difference)

Another good one: You can have blinders in fast cars, but you can't deep stage a slow car.

Greg, Knob Creek sounds like something yall made in Kentucky without taxes. But if it dripped out of a Mopar radiator, I will have to try it. You gotta come to my fish camp and try some of this stuff I got. Now back to the subject at hand. So far the 6.1 got 5 and 5 coming, 90 of them made, the 5.7 got 10, and could get more by adjustment time, 7 of them made, the system has had some effect. Won't take long. Bruce, what you want to know about a dyno? Absolute Vanilla and a touch of tonic ain't bad, better than sleeping pills.
