Default Re: Broken axle on the way to Norwalk

Well, the post mortem revealed a bad outer bearing. Grease was fine in all the other bearings, and in the inner bearing (well at least the inner bearing area showed grease where the bearing would have been and in what was left of the seal). Axle Surgeons did a great job. A somewhat "low tech" approach (at least in how the job is done) to a great repair. Did I mention they are all over the country, and MOBILE.
