That is a Neat car, a neat story and Congrats on the win, I cant remeber who told me the story first , I think it was at Indy, maybe Norwalk Div, but getting a chance to talk to them about the car, and the fact that they STILL campaign and slug it out is so very cool.

Can't think of anyone more deserving of this win than Ben and Dave Wenzel. Gentlemen racers, and the fact that Ben bought this very rare Z28 new in June of 1967 (one of 602 produced), won Indy in Sept of '67......and is still racing the same car today. Congrats to you both. 43 years between national event wins but who's counting. Between the Jegs Championship last year, multiple points race wins, division 3 championship. You are living a sportsman racer's dream.......and with a stick shift car to boot, keep it up for another 20 years!

Was also great that we pitted together last week in Bristol. Glad we got to go out for your birthday dinner Sat night. Dave, you missed out on a free meal!

Another Wenzel trivia fact.......did you know that Ben and Paul McCartney share the same birthday and birth year? 6-18-42. That's the music trivia coming out in me........
