In 1967 at a points meet in Milan, Michigan, a kid with a Kodak camera was wandering through the pits when he spotted a brand new, really cool Z/28 Camaro headed for the staging lanes. Seeing that this kid was attempting to take a picture of the car as he was moving past him, a gracious, and rightfully proud Mr. Wenzel stopped the car and waited for the kid to take the picture. A quick wave of thanks and Mr. Wenzel was on his way. I'm not sure if that kid was more impressed with that moment or with the U.S. Nationals win later that year, but either way, some things just have a way of sticking with you. It was really good to see you guys get the win this past weekend. A big CONGRATS to Dave and Ben.... from the kid with the camera.
