Live From The Sonoma LODRS

Toby, congrats on yours and Jody's first round wins, but I'm wondering why wasn't Angelo Phillips & Raul Vargas listed in the qualifying for the Phoenix race...they both were entered in it, but weren't shown in the final qualifying post for the runoff today, or the 1st rnd ladder??? Who else showed up there for the Phx. runoff that was omitted from the 1st rnd???

Yes, both Raul and Angelo ran in the Phoenix race. Angelo lost to Jim Meador first round when he couldn't run the number. I don't know what happened to Raul, but it looked like his car was on an open trailer at the scales. I assume he broke something.

The final qualifying and ladder from Phoenix is based only on the winners of the first round. The first round is random pairing. Similar to how the super class categories are done except we are laddered by how far we run under the index first round. I believe there were 63 cars first round.

That wasn't Raul's car I saw on the trailer by the scales. It was still there after I ran second round. They must be getting a chassis cert. done or something.

Well, we are down to the semi's in Stock. Larry Gilley races Chad Loge and I race Jody.

They just called the the 4th round of Super Stock to the lanes.

They finally ran Super Stock. In the semi's Tony Mandella races John Winslow Sr. and Ryan McClanahan gets the bye.

Stock is supposed to run after Super Gas which they are running now. There's a 7PM curfew though. Don't know if they will be able to get elims done tonight.
