Default Re: Drum to disc weight savings

Todd.....I had stock discs on the front of my late model Firebird. I bought a Wilwood kit produced by a company in Pa......At the time Wilwood did not make a direct fit race style kit and this company made up some special brackets to mount up essentially a set of rear hat type rotors on the stock hubs.

I weighed everything I took off the car and everything I installed.....

It was very close to a 40 lb weight savings.....

Stopped fine and I had no problem staging it and footbrake racing at 3000+
