Leave it to Billy to find them. In his hands they'd likely be a handful to beat in class too.

You might find that most of these combos ended up at demo derbies.

10-4 I enjoyed those car more at the demo derbies than I did at the drag strip, however I did take my Dad's new 4 door/360 cubed 72 Plymouth barge down the track a few times and actually made a few bucks in bracket 4.

In the late 70's I built a 1969 chevy brookwood stationwagon, it was a 396 /265 h.p. 2bbl engine,and a t-400 trans, weight with driver for Q/SA 4705 lb's# it wasn't very quick back then @ 14.17 e.t and 83 mph, but it would pull the front wheels 2 feet off the line ..

Luckily the 265 caprice 200/230 is only just hitting 3850 currently. Could be 4310 in R

Back during my Dover Drag Strip days in the early 70’s I remember Joe’s brother, Lance DeMarzo running a ‘69 Impala 2 dr. Custom in R/SA with a 327/235 2V motor. With today’s rules would this be a viable combo ? Could fall into T too.
