Maybe it was just a cam change and re-paint . Timing cover might have been replaced with a chrome one.

I bet they completely rebuilt except for rings and bearings. we use that saying all the time thought it would good time to say it here.
One of the other favorites is, I don't understand what happened it was running good till the engine blew up.
Another one is when some one sees a car that got ragged out and they say I bet that was a nice car at one time. we say nope it came out brand new like that.
how many problems are we supposed to find from picture?
Only thing I spot instantly is with mobile homes in back ground they are in danger of tornado hitting them.
Only thing I saw was intake gaskets on table with intake on but they could've been extras
and #6 intake valve guide looks a little loose.

Well we were actually just in amazement that the intake is totally open, and they are working on the engine OUTSIDE!!!

Also the can of spray paint with the engine open was also a bit concerning.. the front is totally open with the timing cover off.. LETS PAINT... LOL
