To me.....The most amazing thing about these new A/FX ~ G/FX CJ'S and Drag Packs are the launchs...has any of them made a real launch yet? Unbelievable! I wish I could drive one on the street...but, we all know this was never possible....UGHHHH!
PS...How did the AA/SA OF McCalhans pass tech with all the aftermaket steering components? Are they still on it? Last edited by Jason Fuller; 09-03-2010 at 06:15 AM. |

It's only the second motor this year. I guess I'm trying to live to close to the edge. The engine had a valve train failure, so maybe we can salvage more than than the timing chain cover and head bolts.
They just called super gas to the lanes, super stock class is next. Right now I am looking for a place to race. I can almost qualify at Indy, my car is to new to race NSS. IHRA is not close. And I have a good car. |

It rained overnight and they are still drying the track. Super gas is in the lanes and waiting for a couple of more spots to get dry. The sun is trying to come out a bit, so maybe it will help the drying.

Larry, NMCA has a class for your car but the IHRA would welcome you with open arms. I started converting my NSS Max Wedge car back to Stock and joined the IHRA, they were so accomodating that they even let me pick my own number for the car........1964. Sorry about the cam and lifter problem. JimR

Jim, the 61 was the long ram 2/4bbl 413. It always did have Edlebrock heads. Probably a 10.90 car.
