Last year at Indy Tim Kish and I ran each other for class. There was no talk of running to 1000' . We both knew we could get the instant hit. Fine situation? Lose class and get an instant hit to boot. We shook hands, wished each other luck, and raced.
That is the way it should be.

Now your talking ! And there is probably still a lot more left in each combo. NHRA needs to stop this qualifying for the eliminator and go back to class winners first then round it out with low qulifyers. I think this would stop a lot of the BS !
