How about getting NHRA to run a go fast race the first day of qualifying (or sometime) during a national event?
This could get your AHFS working a lot quicker. And they could tear down the instant hits. This would be lopsided for a while but it would straighten out quick.

Isn't "Run Fast" what qualifying is "supposed" to be?
