Default Challenger Drag Pak Owners please contact me...

Challenger Drag Pak owners, please PM me or send me your email address.

We are trying to launch a project that will help Drag Pak cars stay competitive for a longer time, than the current rate of HP hits will allow with current ratings of 360 for the 5.7 and 399 for the 6.1, and the Hemis that can only run AA/A/B/C now, whereas we started in AA/A/B/C/D/E/F with the 5.7s.

If you wish to help makes things better now, and also keep them better for a longer time, drop me a note. Then we can get some spec errors fixed, and maybe get some other much needed changes made in the Program .... with us working together as a group.

And yes, I know that we were responsible for the latest HP hit on the 5.7 But how could we know we would run a 9.85 the first time out?
And we only did it once, and dont plan to do it again, whereas others have hit hp more than once, both in the 5.7 and 6.1

Oh if I could only hit the lottery no one would have to worry as I would hire a hitter and tell him to travel the country to every race possible and and hit these cars EVERY time possible! And, then we would change engines and do it all over again!!

I would probably have to hire 2 drivers and put the other in a new Mustang as well!! Buy a stacker and give them a bank roll and tell them to have fun!!

Oh well I'll just keep buying those lotto tickets. Until then you are all safe!!

LOL

If the Fords would run full out instead of getting out of it 1/3 of the way down the track, they would be getting pounded by HP too.

So pick another car to race against the Challengers, because if you race against us with a mustang, you WILL be getting horsepower if you plan to beat us. And if you think you can push us into more horsepower without getting it yourself, then you don't know what my driver can do to pull the plug when he needs to.

Pick on the Challengers all you want now , but it wont be long until you are all crying because the mustangs own all of the lower classes with nobdy to race against them.

Thats why I added a 2nd driver to the mix driving a mustang!

BTW. If i hit a big lotto I would'nt care less how much HP it would bring on these cars as I would just unload them for 30 cents on the dollar if thats all they would bring!

On second thoughts I would just donate them to a good charity to auction off!! Lord knows I would need a good tax right off!!

I have to laugh at this. After all the backpedaling done to save the HP on the older cars.
Maybe someone will hit the lottery and build an early car to run out the back instead of "Protecting".
I could be wrong but as of yet I haven't heard of one new car losing water to turn up light on the scales.

I'm just having a little fun here but if you are talking about a green camaro then yes he is fast but these new cars; especially the mustangs, would outrun this car hands down anytime anywhere by 4 tenths or more easy!!

Oh if I could only hit that lotto!!!

Just a few short years ago the 396/375 guys were on here planning how to save the hit they were due, and their plan worked, and nobody cried, remember? So lets live and let live.

There is already a class that sounds just right for you. It's called Super Gas. Use your TPS as a throttle stop and there you go because basically, that's what it sounds like you want to do, right?
It looks like everybody running a Hemi has accomplished there "hurrah" moment and now you have to work together to save your investments.
And it's amazing you guys are already coming up with "tech errors" so you can cook the books.

Hey guys,

There are enough "Bash the new car threads" here already...

Why do you feel the need to hijack a thread that is simply meant to allow Drag pak owners to be recognized, amongst themselves and to communicate a little bit??

Are you guys really all that affected by the new cars?????
Or do you just want to right the wrongs of the world one newer car at a time??

Someone should do a poll about how many people are here, who bitch about the new cars, and:

A. Either don't run class at all, or
B. Have never even ever run up against the newer cars in class.
C. Don't even have a car
D. Actually got affected by a new car in class

While the last choice may have a few, the truth is that you were honest in the poll, 95% of you whiners are probably in the first three categories.

The difference between the newer cars coming in today, and the new cars that came in a few years back, remember any of them? LT1, etc, and ruffled your feathers, is simply the availability of this forum and the internet. You now have a bully pulpit from which to whine and complain. But the situation is no different now from then, and things got sorted out before, and will get sorted out now without all of your whining and crying and thread hijacking. Please just go and whine and cry on one of the "whine and cry and bash the new car threads."

Indy gets a bunch of new cars and you guys all go ballistic. Most races you go to have more mustangs than Drag Paks anyway, so why don't you just go play in one of the other bash a Drag Pak threads, or create a bash the CJ's thread or two, (then you can deal with Charlie Bob ) and leave this thread alone for a while.
