Chad ---Rockford was always run late October but in Northern Illinois the weather can be "iffy" cold/rainy or beautiful 70-80 degrees out, just depends--Comp

The USCN was run right before Indy and it was hotter than H##L as I remember. Its way to miserable on us old folks.....lol.

I don't think you could pull it off at an NHRA affiliated trak,especially if they were already
a track where national/divisional races were held.I don't know how anal IHRA would be about allowing it.It could be like hiring your own executioner if it was a big success.
I'd like to attend if it was a reasonable distance for me.Reasonable being about 8 hrs. one way.

So true......NHRA is one way. Remember what the new struggling AHRA went thru. I would think IHRA would be more receptive to it (Im guessing) BUT I have heard from a little bird that Bill Bader would be for it and might help also. Who knows?????
