does anyone remember an inline Autolite fourbarrel from the same era??..

They didn't stick around for long.I've seen a s/b ford setup once.Looked pretty neat.

It's called an inline Autolite or Cross-Boss and was used for awhile on the Ford Trans Am cars. There were two sizes, 1425 CFM and a smaller one which I think was around 800 CFM?
