Kenny, perhaps the easiest way to check the rear it to take you car to a shop that has a new style alignment machine. We use a new style Hunter machine at our shop.
Once all four heads are installed and compensated, you will see exactly what your rear has for toe and camber. You should see zero toe and camber. Next, jack the rear, rotate the tires 180 degrees, and then lower the rear again. You should, of course, have zero toe and camber again. If your numbers (other than zero) stay the same once the tires have been rotated, the housing is most likely bent. If the numbers (other than zero) change, you mosy likely will have a bent wheel or axle flange. These machines also give a thrust angle measurement. A thrust angle, other than zero, means the rear is not straight in the car. I do have a jig for the 8.5 and you are welcome to use it if you need. Dean
