Jeff you must love standing in your own poop!!! maybe you need a new engine builder?? or there could be other things to try with that 440/6 or 440/4bbl. there are quite a few with these combo's that run near the top of the class there in (unless a new car is in it). if you were the one and only with this combo and couldn't make it work then i guess you could jump up and down, but there are plenty of 440/6bbl and 440/4bbl combo's doing quite well at this time. check the stats!!!! they may not be the fastest but there a long way from the slowest.

Jeff,
I don't know about '68 Hemi cars being sold through dealers but Holiday Chrysler/Plymouth in NJ sold a '64 Aluminum Hemi car off the show room floor and the next year sold a '65 A990 of the floor. Both of those cars were street raced for awhile then went to Atco regularly and both had full street equipment. BUT, all three verisions of the race Hemi went directly into SS or FX....none went to Stock and they certainly did not belong in Stock. JimR
