Default Re: Bogey Winners at the Dutch?

I agree with Iggie, put the pot into the eliminations purse and go from there and shorten the race by a day or make it a Sportsnational for the East Coast. I mean I know I didn't get there till Friday but I know by Sunday I was drained (As you can tell that all of us were sleeping by the 5th inning of the Phils Game on Sat Night) so for the people who were there on Wednesday I feel for you! I understand there will be arguments over how many days it needs to be but, we all know you can't run cars past sunset at Maple Grove at the end of October unless we get unreasonable warm weather like today is on the East Coast. Every year I know I've gone to the Dutch (15+ years) they have always pushed the line and barley finished on time but, now they keep adding more and more classes (T/D, T/S, Sleds, Hemi Shootout). Now trust me I like watching T/S and the Hemi Cars cause they are some trick pieces of fast equipment but, just not enough time in the day so now I understand why the .90 classes had no cars. As 1 racer said to me this weekend they are trying to fit 15 pounds of sand into a 5 pound bag but, he didn't use the word "SAND". Make Thursday a test and tune day and go from Friday on...
