Hey - I forgot to ask - -

Seeing how no one complained Sunday about the tracks radio station - I take it it was better on 104.9 Sunday than 104.7 from Saturday?

(and thanks for the announcing kudos)

and also yes, the event owners Dave and Michelle Waller already secured next years Memorial Day weekend for this event. Ought to be a barn burner.....Ogburn wants to bring in a Hemi Shootout too. Cool beans.

Nitro Joe great job, you worked your butt off. We had fun something that is lacking at NHRA events. We also got a good return on entry fees lots of runs for not much money. I am sure next year will be even better. I hope the Mopar club sends out questionaires to the participants for some input on improvements for next year.

Thanks to NitroJoe for putting on the kind of fun event that we haven't seen out west in a long time. A lot of us really appreciated all he did to give us a great time. Thanks too to Bryan Broaddus for the help he gave me this past weekend. I'll be looking forward to entering any events like this one that may be held in the future at the track.

Thanks to all the gang that showed up and supported this deal. I know it was short notice and a holiday weekend but to have a 28 car field and I'll tell you what, the top name drivers of the west coast was there, I didnt get to see much of the racing as i was maning the rear of the staging lanes, but it sounded good, speaking of sounding good, how about the "Jaws in the travel trailer", i know, i needed to pop a shot at Bruce also. He did a good job on short notice. Yes gang Michael Orburn helped out a bunch as normal and a big thank you from me.
Date will be this holiday weekend next year, and who knows, i might even do a special Sat SS/Stock race if i can find some sponsor support.
But anyhow, thanks to all the drivers as you guys was the talk of the pits for a great show.

BowtieBomber:
As far as the radio station...I had to sit next to my radio and hold the antenna to get reception...but that could be my cheap radio. Great job announcing appreciate the hard work!

Nitro Joe:
Thanks for the great event all weekend. Everything went smoothly and from the sound of it everyone was very pleased with the entire event. I'm glad somebody stepped up to put anther COMBO race together out here on the west coast...it always seems that the majority of these type of deals (combo races) are at other places in the country besides the west coast So, thanks again for your hard work and effort!
