Re: Rusk, TEXAS Track
John,
I would also like to know the answer. I liked the track and enjoyed racing there. It is about 58 miles from my shop. I may drive there soon and report what I see.

Re: Rusk, TEXAS Track
I believe that they use a bulldozer to clear the track and put back to dirt field

Bobby,
I have heard that but also have heard it is untouched. Maybe someone in that area will check.

Re: Rusk, TEXAS Track
I liked the place too, but some of the locals didn't. I was at their 1st divisional, and some locals took down or moved signage that helped people find the track, intentionally sending you down the wrong roads if you didn't know how to get there. I found that to be very odd...

Re: Rusk, TEXAS Track
I just found it on Mapquest. Just search Rusk, TX and go to the satelite view and zoom in. It is still intact (if the date of the pic is current).

Re: Rusk, TEXAS Track
I drove by there about 2 months ago and all of the pits have been bull dozed and it looked as if parts of the track as well. No chance for it to be open again.
