He want's to put the car back on the street. Built him a mild low deck 428 hp engine, replaced the 5.13's with 3.55's, with a standard rebuilt 18 spline 833.

Anyway's, I have another customer willing to buy his old transmission and installing it in a 68 Dart. RB wedge putting out 707/686 on pump gas. Think it'll hold up or should I steer him in another direction.
Jerry if he goes this route, I have left over parts that might come in handy....Lakewood blowshield with inspection hole(out of cert but perfect for the street) and a Mcloud Soft lok setup ready to be redone, just send it off to Hyatt, and a old school period correct vgate shifter(I think thats whats its called, nice shifter.....but no Long shifter! Call if you need/want anything/pictures

Sure Jerry. If he does go the 833 route, mine just needs another imput shaft and 2nd gear..(not minor pieces of course)..best to have a spare handy, just in case......if/when it breaks, he could be looking at a good month or two of downtime waiting on parts, machining and labor.....Assuming you are talking about a faceplated/hardened liberty gears treatment on a 833 crash box.
