The best place to start would be what model # Dominator, HP or early style, and any metering info you have. Bleeds, e-bleeds if removable etc. All car and engine specs, trans, converter stall, gear, etc. I had my 1250 on my 23˚ 427 with no stumbles, 31 and 35 for squirters. It's a matter of getting everything tuned well. And a stock 3 circuit Dominator can be very temperamental...
