Danny Ashley did my Quadrajet on my truck....but to my knowledge he doesn't work on Thermoquads or AFB carbs. The reason we sometimes remove rods on Thermo's is : 1 Lack of different jet available 2 Easy of assembly of top of carb to body. Neither applys to your carb.
