If it happens in Div 2 and brings in the entries it will be coming your way soon.

This will probably be my last year. May be more of a good thing than I think.

Cool Re: D2 races to include 3 Unleashed classes

The only plus I can see is the elimination of electronics in the cars. The driver might have to drive the car on his own. Almost unheard of.

Get rid of the TAD/TAFC . and you would have time to run those 10,11,12.classes

I would rather watch heads up door cars than that other crap. (I don't watch the crap cars run anyways)

Hammer

Maybe if they get people running it they will replace Super Gas/Comp and the use of electronics. As usual all stock ss guys on here complain about something.

I ran Unleashed at Indy last year in the 10.0 class. The one thing that I didn't like was the 2 cars we watched in the 9.0 class using a throttle stop. The race director warned us all about using throttle stops and even said they would tear down any car they suspected of cheating. One of the throttle stop cars made it to the quarter finals, yet no one seemed to notice his car falling on it's face everytime it launched, running 9.01 or 9.02 every round. I like the heads up racing on a pro tree a lot, I just wish they would make everyone follow the rules.

How was this allowed from the beginning if the electronic aids were forbidden ?Why didnt anyone complain and have the cars in question DQ'ed? Does anyone know the full weitten rules of what is allowed and not allowed and index breaks of the Unleashed deal ?

Why would they replace a group that does not require the tech effort? There are more of those guys, and they are low maintenance. Why would the electronics bother them? Stock & SS are the expensive (due to the amount of tech officials required) and high maintenance group. That would be the most attractive to get rid of. Nobody watches any of them. TD & TS, and the Alky cars, I'm told, are "the show" at div races. If they are, something is wrong as nobody is watching them either.
