The 4 cylinder Mopars in comp are using the sprint car motors (a sawed in half longways V8). It is a pushrod motor that has nothing in common with the SRT4 blocks. I've talked to the comp guys about using a motor like mine but they don't think they could get a car light enough. (146 cubes)

I talked to the guy with the opel at Indy, LAA, that is a cheaper way to go comp racing for sure. And Aragona in his GED has been .70 under with his.

Maybe cheap compared to running a T/F car. That L/LA car was Alan's,who by the way did all the R&D on the chassis, engine etc. They bought a winning combo to start. No reflection on him (Yediny) but if he had to start from scratch his costs would probably equal the GDP of some small third world countries.
