art, you really can't fault anyone for not knowing the ins and outs of your specific class. It appears that only two of you have read it in detail

Chad I've been badmouthed on here for years because I ran the turbododges.
People commenting that I couldn't make anything go fast without a speed screw (turbo).
When making such comments they failed to realize We qualified number 1 with the Hemi car at a few different tracks.
And I would think more than a few people have opened the rule book up to look at my combo. It has qualified number one at a few nhra events.

OK, maybe you shouldn't blame them for not knowing the in's and outs of Art's specific class, but that is even more reason for them to put a sock in it. The comments people such as Ed has been making are dumb. I know personally how hard Art has had to work to get his combo to run, both the turbo Dodge (which I owned) and his current non-turbo (that's right, NO TURBO) Dodge. It took Art several years to sort out the Neon SS car and he has every right to be proud of his accomplishments with that car. If it were so damn easy to make that combo run there would be as many of them out there as there are LT/LS1 Camaros. Art has made EVERY Mopar car he has raced fast! From the 4 banger to the mighty HEMI. How many racers out there can say that? Some people need to have a little more respect for people such as Art who think out of the box and just love to be different! Jim

Sounds like an attendants award to me, just like in Pre-School sports these days, like ya show up and cry and don't prove a thing and still get a reward for doing nutt'in !!!!!!! How are ya in the main eliminator?

YAAAAA HOOOOOOOOOOOO!
So I'm guessing that if for some reason you had a single for class you would decline the Wally and the win money because you didn't deserve it? Hummmm? Jim

IMHO This is one of the dumbest posts I have read on the forum in a long time. You don't have an answer but if you have 8 spark plug wires your cool? Gee can I join the "club" now? (H/SA) Volare) I have 8 spark plugs now! I also have a combo with 4 spark plugs.(A/FS Neon) Ooooops! No "club" membership for me! Do yourself a favor, engage your brain before you post James, or better yet keep your elitist comments to yourself. Oh and you can stick your "club" where the sun don't shine. Jim
