Anyone else receive one of these

I was speaking with a friend of mine at dinner tonight ( longtime NHRA member) and he told me that he received a questionnaire, including a prepaid return envelope, from the IRS regarding the NHRA. Said it was short, but asked some interesting questions. One was asking if he had ever had a vote or input on any issues or leadership elections, and if so describe. Another was asking if he was aware of the compensation received by the board/management. I am sure he was chosen at random, but this is a sure sign that the IRS is actually investigating this.

Anyone else received a similar questionnaire or inquiry?

That would be interesting to see. May be this is serious.

Hope he said he was not aware of the compensation. Saying he was might be understood as approving of it.

All the IRS has to do is go back to when WP retired and turned over control to the board of directors and see where they (the BOD) announced the NHRA would be immediately directed to becoming a Motorsports Marketing Agency. I believe this was clearly announced in ND.
