Virus Warning -Pomona videos

Toby.. i got the same virus, now my computer has pop up adds when it comes on...

I almost got it. Click to see the vids and the advertisement pop up's started. After I couldn't keep up with closing the first few, I crashed my computer. My reaction time was about 1.5 seconds.

I bet one of them is from "Potato head" Or something like that.
Bob,
Justin says the reason some get it and some don't is the way your anti virus works. You probably got it and the type protection you had blocked it or quietly removed it.

I'm for sure it wasn't anything Toby did. Yes, I run AVG and it let me start the download and then stopped it. It did let part of the Malware through. My guy said it was not a virus, just straight Malware. He said he had seen it before.
He spotted some of the corrupt files just going through my puter. He told me that most of us just buy a virus protection and that is why some of it gets through. We need Malware protection. More of it now than in the past.

Guys, i use emsisoft anti malware program free version. u can download it @ www.downloads.com.

Ok...I'm good...restored computer to three days ago and then was able to run ad-aware which removed it and got me back on the internet.

Toby : A Huge thanks for what you are doing for the enjoyment of others all over the world , don't worry about the Virus thing it is not your problem the viruses show up no one should get up set with what you are doing for us .

Obviously, if I knew there was a virus on the site I wouldn't have used it. Second, I doubt that Mediafire knew about the virus. They make money by people paying for the pro version and selling ads. How many people would buy the pro version if they knew they would be giving their friends a virus when they share files? Third, does everybody agree that the virus came from an ad on Mediafire and not the CCCP codec pack? I uploaded all the files to Hotfile. You may have to enter a captcha code and you may have to wait 30 minutes in between downloads, but I'm pretty sure there are no viruses on the site as I don't think they sell ad space. Let me know if there are any problems.
