Ok, what do you suggest to make it fair for the faster car who has the distraction of having another car launch and go down the track right beside him while having to concentrate on his light? Maybe it is a give and take situation and you build your car to suit the rules that are in place.

It's all a matter of perspective. We had the faster car and redlit more than enough last year. I think some of these people think only the slow car can loose that way!

Concentrate on the job you're there to do. You can't make any real decisions until you get the car into high gear anyway. Contrary to popular belief, you're not racing the guy in the other lane, you're trying to put together a 100% perfect pass in your lane. The person who gets closest to it will turn on the win light. If that is you.... great, if it's your opponent, he's earned it.

the brakes up to make it close. Now you have a bad situation for no good reason. Run a few scenarios through your head before you post suggestions for change.

So a race that is over on the starting line is still run to the finish line.OK.When they get to the stripe neither guy knows it's a done deal already and one of the knuckleheads locks
the brakes up to make it close. Now you have a bad situation for no good reason. Run a few scenarios through your head before you post suggestions for change. As a bracket and class racer, I'm on my brakes almost every round bringing the other car in closer, if you aren't, you are not doing your job. So what's your point? Casey Miles 248H Stock? |
