Joe,

Hope the weather stays nice for you. I'm trying to get there for Saturday morning, but it looks like with the compressed schedule, I'll only get one day of "spectating"! It's on the way home anyway!

Good Luck!

Lew

well its friday morning and it was the night of nightmares at the South coach as the coach batteries went "South" and we had no power at all. We are waiting on napa to bring 4 new batteries as it looks like we will have plenty of time to install them as its 750 am here and raining already. Danny, yes still has the 305 carb motor in it.
Will update later on this morning on weather situation.

I want to thank Joe for doing the "Live From" down here in Valdosta. I just finished talking to Joe and will through my thoughts in from this race as well.

The schedule has not changed, we still have a 12:00 start. Starting out with the unleashed classes. The pits look full, it will be interesting to see how many cars are here.

Weather right now,
Temp 60
hum 70%
bar 30.08
DA 400ft

I will be back shortly with some pictures of the track.

Here are the pictures of the track and a few cars, Trailers are still rolling in at steady pace. James Perrone is in the blue Nova, I have told him time again not to use the cell phone in his race car, he never listens.

I will have to switch camera's, the pictures not that good.

I will be getting some in car video this weekend. I will try to set it up so you can view right from Class Racer.

First qualifying run for stock and super stock are done. The track was very good, hard to tell who is fast. Lots of cars lifting after the 1000ft. We had a few sprinkles and down time, but we are back to racing.

This is my first time with the helmet cam, I never realized on moved around so much. I went 9.88 on this run.
