Default Re: Clutch Release

Maverick, no, I used to run the track at Bethany Mo. and every since i raced there 40 years ago, they have ran a pro tree. I just noticed they would go weeks without a red light, and the spots bothered no one. I just think it shows the better driver on reaction. Years ago Osborne Mo. ran the same lbs. per c.i. rules, and I runner-upped there, and my slowest reaction was a .439 and my quickest was .419. I, just luv that type of tree. Now, Steve thompson drives the car at IHRA divisionals, and NHRA national opens, and he's good on any tree. We now run IHRA sspg1 and NHRS ss/dm and ss/cs. I just leave off the pedal and human error. And no, I'm not that good anymore. Thanks for asking, but going to a .4 tree would eliminate 90% of red lights.
