Ken, i thought the rule read any rear end as long as it it's the same corporation.

Greg, that's what I thought. I'm going to send a letter to NHRA, respectfully asking them to reconsider the use of an aluminum center sections.

I will post a thread with a draft of the letter to be sent to NHRA. I will stick it to the top and ask members if they are willing to be listed on the letter.

So this means that the new Mustangs can't use a cast-iron
center section, or stock 9" housing?????

Greg, seems that way, but they did tell Robert Pond to change his at the Winternationals.

John, that's excellent observation, they do come with 9 inch rears but they are braced. It would be interesting to see if they would be told to change, if they had a steel case and a none braced rear.
