I just learned something interesting today. I found out that when you get shut off on the line and backed out, you can't work on your car. I have seen people lift their hoods to cool off before running again and I didn't think there was any rule about not working on your car, but I guess there is.
Funny thing though, when Mike Rice told John he was going to have to race with the 10.00 dial, John was under the hood with a wrench adjusting the throttle stop. Why didn't Mike say anything to him about it then? One more thing. I talked to John again in the tech line (John first came over and talked to me about it about 30 minutes after it happened.) He said he was disappointed that I didn't say that they didn't do it intentionally in my post last weekend. I told him I'm sure everybody knows that you didn't do it intentionally and that I wrote that post before I talked to you. I just want to let everyone know that they didn't do it intentionally. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before. It's been a learning experience for me and I hope that others can learn by it as well.
