Well, it's just the same as yesterday. When the fans are here my internet service goes to ****. I also noticed this at Pomona, but it wasn't nearly as bad.
Bernie Cunningham gave me an in-car video of him dropping Mark Faul like a hot potato at the finish line. I have Super Stock round one ready to upload also. As soon as the fans leave I'll be able to upload them. I noticed the helmet cam uses the MJPG codec. Basically what this is, is a series of jpegs played at 30 frames per second. Each frame is separate from the other. With the H264 or Xvid codec they use the last frame (or series of frames) and only save the changes between the two. This results in a lot better compression and quality. The video that Bernie gave me is 65MB. I encoded it using the H264 codec (with the same settings as I use on my other videos) and it cut the file size down to 9MB without any loss in quality. In fact it might be a little better because the H264 codec has a deblocking filter built in. -Toby |

Toby,
So I'm guessing one of our "enhancements" wasn't a decent WIFI hub at National Events! ![]() I really appreciate all your efforts. Funny that we had better coverage of the LODRS event last week from 1320go and Ustream! Of course, I need to get the car finished and be with you all at the track! Good luck! Lew (waiting for the rain to stop!)

I bet that looks a lot better from Bernie's view than from mine. Nice dump job Bernie.
