Here is the first in car camera of the day. I will be back with more info and picks when things settle down. They just called us back to the lanes.

First qualifying was not as fast as I thought, starting line was just okay, some had problems. Super Stock was also just okay. Some spun real bad, others were okay.

Certainly downhill, built in 1% I hear. I was fast this morning, but slowly losing ground as we get into the heat of the day, the barometer goes away, and a crossheadwind presents itself at times. The wind is difficult to gauge here, with the lay of the land, big grandstands, etc. Bryan Phillips had 5mph headwind between Stock and Super Stock 2nd session.

3rd session air, 74.4 F, 25%, 29.34, 1834 DA'

Stock and Super Stock are done for the day. It has warmed up to 77. The track does not seem to have the bite it did last year. We are running in lanes 3 and 4, last year the super classes were in 3 and 4 and they were having issues back then.

I have another in car video and lots of picture. Be back later when I get my car put away and get something to eat.

Here is a in car with Joe Santangelo.
