I don't know this as fact, but I highly doubt Dewayne is spending his money on this. He probably is doing some work on a car as trade. If you read the article, you would see why he might be getting a chance to drive the extra car this weekend. Dewayne is a good guy and can drive a car as well as build one. He might not have the Emmons or Helms name, but he sure has turned on a bunch of win lights in the last couple years.

So it has come to buying rides in S/SS just like Pro Stock, Top Fuel, USAC, WOO, NASCAR, etc. Whoda thunk?
Edit: did not mean to imply Dewayne had to buy a ride. Just that somebody was "shopping a S/SS ride". No reflection on Dewayne. Hope he wins that sucker!
