I don't see a 98 Firebird Coupe (stock) listing for the LS1 (346) in the NHRA classification guide. I thought 98 was the first year for the LS1?
Also, can you run a formula firebird body style as a Trans Am body style (weight classification) for 98-02 firebird years? Who can help me with the firebird combos as I'm looking at purchasing a 98-02 firebird (roller) formula body style (front round fog lights)? I see that the Smyths have run their bird (Formula body style WS6) as a 98 in C/SA, but how is this possible if it's a natural A car (8.16) and the Trans Am is a natural B (8.79)? Can I run any (LS1) firebird as either a Trans Am or Formula? Sorry for the confusion, but can someone help out with my questions and with getting a firebird setup to run stock eliminator? Im not looking for an over the top below the index runner. I'm only looking for info for an index to -.2 under car. Thanks Manny

Oh no, not this again. The dog that has been beat to death will be brought back to life and beat to death yet again. I'm sure one of the late model F-body guys will cover this in full.
