Keep it simple.....footbrake till your driving style or car proves it to you that you need to spend the time effort and dough on a two step......Since your suspension hasn't been preloaded before(stick/trans brake) concentrate on getting that right first with decent 60 foot times, etc. I have done it both ways, footbraking is more adjustable and the method of choice for quite a few world champions....But until you/car prove its needed, go off the brake pressure gauge and your bored clutch foot.

Good luck, I am going the other direction soon on my favorite car.
