NEWS FLASH!!! NEWS FLASH!!! NEWS FLASH!!!
I have been directed to post the following: The rule in respect to weight for Stock and all S/S classes will be enforced exactly as stated in the 2011 NHRA rulebook. That means the heaviest a car can weigh in its class is the minimum of the next heavier class. There is no longer a 5 pound deduction as was used at Norwalk. Here's hope that this clears up the matter and everyone is once again a happy racer. It should also be pointed out that a few classes have no maximum weight. An example would be classes such as U/SA. The rulebook for U/SA shows a weight break of 20.00 or more. "Or more" means there is no way to figure a maximum weight.
