And the young guys are all in a bad mood because they had to get sons early. The old guys are already up because they had to pee about 5:00 am. A couple of big cups of coffee, then pee again after first round.

My boss says methylphenidate would improve RT's. What say you Mr. Rx?

This is not funny! Methylphenidate is a stimulant and an amphetamine. Stimulants can increase blood pressure, heart rate, body temperature, and decrease sleep and appetite, which can lead to malnutrition and its consequences. Repeated use of stimulants can lead to feelings of hostility and paranoia. At high doses, they can lead to serious cardiovascular complications, including stroke. It is a med for ADHD. Jim

In short, if you abuse amphetamines you legally must change your name to Ed! (shudder).

Cool Re: Ibuprophin vs. reaction times

The reason I asked this is because I had heard that aspirin or Advil can mess up your lights. I've had problems with kidney stones for the last four months or so, two trips to the emergency room, and various pains and discomforts from time to time. Advils seem to work the best, and I take 4 to 6 a day, never more. Sunday I went to Irwindale for the Summit race #2, and while I got to the fourth round, my lights were uncharacteristically late. I couldn't seem to get the tree figured out all day, but there were no differences in the track. I'm going back in two weeks for race #3, then the next for race #4, then Fontana for the National Open.I'm sure I'll figure it out,but that thought crossed my mind Sunday. Meanwhile, they probably need to shatter, scatter, dynamite or nuke the stone that remains. No way will it pass. As long as illness doesn't interfere with drag racing. That's the main thing.
