More entry spots for Englishtown

Just got word from the NHRA that they will add ten additional spots to both Stock and SuperStock ASAP and will monitor them to see if more are needed .Stay tuned .......

They added 10 spots to Stock (was 80, now 90); but, so far nothing has been added to Super Stock (was 60, still 60).

Has anyone got in with a 1 event grade point?
I know someone who tried , and called California and was told 2 grade points only.

Maybe they're trying to make up for the cash they're short because S/C and S/G didn't meet quota.I can't remember a Div 1 national not filling up in the super categories,since I've been racing at them(since 1999).

I just read an email from Kent Hanley and Bob Lang to the effect they are increasing the quota by a total of 20.The entries are beinfg taken from the underwhelming amount of entries from S/G and S/C,as I guessed at before.Anyway it's good for any S/SS entrants.

I got one from Crutchfield that said they were opening it up by 10. Your correct though, it's a money thing! Jim
